This Alliance Establishes National Financial Network as Presenter of The Basketball League’s Financial Literacy Educational Program

The Basketball League is delighted to announce a strategic alliance with National Financial Network, who will serve as the presenter of the league’s forthcoming “Financial Literacy Educational Program.” This alliance enables TBL to effectively deliver to its teams, coaches, and players a financial literacy curriculum developed by the National Finance Educators Council, a non-profit dedicated to improving the financial capabilities of individuals while raising awareness for the financial literacy movement.

“A relationship with The Basketball League is an incredible opportunity, where our group will work diligently to assist team owners, coaches, and players to better understand and plan for their respective financial future,” shared Joseph Natoli of National Financial Network. “Our goal is to enable everyone associated with The Basketball League to have a strong foundation of understanding regarding financial terms and opportunities.”

Through TBL’s relationship with the National Finance Educators Council, Natoli and his team at National Financial Network will support the positioning of social responsibility, conscious capitalism, and free enterprise as the fundamental principles underpinning the teachings offered to the “TBL Family.”

“We are thrilled that National Financial Network and Joseph Natoli recognize the importance of educating and assisting in the personal development of The Basketball League’s FAMILY,” said Evelyn Magley, CEO of The Basketball League. “TBL will leverage its assets to support Joe and National Financial Network to engage with our teams and players, so together we can all benefit.”

“TBL’s Financial Literacy Educational Program empowers our league’s participants to understand opportunities for life after basketball,” Victoria Jones, TBL’s Director the TBL Financial Literacy and Development shared, “Having the support of an experienced and knowledgeable financial professional such as Mr. Natoli and National Financial Network is a blessing for TBL.”

The inaugural year of this relationship, as brokered by Dedicated Sports Marketing, LLC, a full-service sports marketing agency based in New York, is set to begin upon the launch of the 2021 TBL season, with Opening Night slated for Friday, April 9, 2021.
