TBL and BSL Standout Continues Remarkable Professional Journey with Championship Success in Mozambique
INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Another TBL player is making his mark on the international stage—and this time, he is doing it as a champion and Finals MVP.
The Basketball League is proud to celebrate Ke’Tarrious “K.T.” Bouchum, whose professional basketball journey has taken him from TBL and BSL courts in North America all the way to Mozambique, where he has now earned MVP honors in the National Championship Finals.
It is another tremendous milestone for a player whose career continues to demonstrate what can happen when talent, development, perseverance and opportunity come together.
From TBL to BSL to Africa—the journey continues.
A TBL JOURNEY BUILT ON PRODUCTION
Bouchum, a Dallas-area product and versatile 6’5″-6’6″ wing/forward, began establishing himself as a major professional talent during his time in The Basketball League.
Playing for the Enid Outlaws in 2024, Bouchum averaged 22.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game over 17 games. His performance earned him Second Team All-Conference recognition and established him as one of TBL’s rising players.
But he was just getting started.
Bouchum continued developing with Creating Young Minds (CYM), and his offensive production exploded.
During the 2025 TBL season with CYM, Bouchum averaged an extraordinary 44.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 2.3 blocks per game in four games against TBL opponents before joining the Potawatomi Fire. The Fire independently reported the same 44.7-point scoring average when announcing his signing.
Then came another opportunity.
FROM SCORER TO TBL CHAMPION
In May 2025, the Potawatomi Fire signed Bouchum for the remainder of their championship pursuit.
Fire General Manager David Qualls described Bouchum at the time as both a “fantastic player” and a “great young man,” while Head Coach Mark Dannhoff believed his addition could help the Fire accomplish their championship goal.
That belief was rewarded.
Bouchum became part of the Potawatomi Fire’s TBL championship team and earned TBL Sixth Man of the Year recognition—adding both a championship and an individual honor to his growing professional résumé.
His performances also began attracting attention beyond TBL. Following the 2025 TBL Summer League, Bouchum received opportunities to participate in private workouts in Las Vegas and later competed at an event in front of NBA and NBA G League personnel.
The doors continued opening.
MAKING HIS MARK IN THE BSL
Bouchum’s journey also extended into the Basketball Super League, further demonstrating his ability to perform at a high level in different environments.
He signed with the Montreal Toundra during a BSL playoff run, producing 16 points and 12 rebounds in his first reported playoff game.
His BSL résumé continued growing, and during the 2025-26 season he averaged 15.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists, ranking among the league’s leading performers in both scoring and rebounding.
But another continent was calling.
NEXT STOP: AFRICA
Bouchum earned an opportunity with Ferroviário da Beira of Mozambique, taking his career into FIBA’s African club competition and the Road to BAL.
And once again, he showed that his game travels.
FIBA’s official records show Bouchum competing in six Road to BAL games for Ferroviário da Beira, contributing across scoring, rebounding and playmaking.
One performance in particular showed exactly what Bouchum can bring to a team.
Against Magical Matero, he delivered a massive 14-point, 17-rebound double-double, dominating the glass in a dramatic Ferroviário victory.
FIBA later described Bouchum as bringing versatility on both ends of the floor, including transition play, perimeter defense and scoring—qualities that have helped define his professional career.
And now his Mozambique chapter has reached another level.
NATIONAL CHAMPION. FINALS MVP.
Ke’Tarrious Bouchum is now an MVP of the Mozambique National Championship Finals.
For TBL, the accomplishment represents much more than another trophy.
It represents the continued growth of a player who kept taking advantage of every opportunity placed before him.
From putting up big numbers in TBL…
To earning All-Conference recognition…
To joining a championship team…
To earning Sixth Man of the Year honors…
To competing in the Basketball Super League…
To earning opportunities in front of NBA and G League personnel…
To crossing the Atlantic and competing in FIBA’s Road to BAL…
And now—
National Championship Finals MVP in Mozambique.
That is a professional basketball journey worth celebrating.
THIS IS WHY THE PLATFORM MATTERS
The Basketball League has always believed that professional basketball should create opportunity.
For some players, TBL represents their first professional contract.
For others, it becomes a place to develop, rebuild, gain exposure or demonstrate that they are ready for something more.
And sometimes, the journey leads thousands of miles away.
Ke’Tarrious Bouchum’s story demonstrates what that pathway can look like.
He continued working.
He continued developing.
He continued producing.
And when another door opened, he walked through it ready.
Today, he isn’t simply playing professional basketball overseas.
He’s winning.
TBL & BSL TO THE WORLD
There is something special about watching players who have competed on TBL and BSL courts continue their careers around the world.
Their success becomes part of our success.
Their journey becomes an example for the next player waiting for his opportunity.
And their accomplishments reinforce something we want every player entering TBL and BSL to understand:
Where you are today does not have to be where your journey ends.
For Ke’Tarrious Bouchum, that journey has already traveled from Texas to TBL, from TBL to BSL, and from North America to Africa.
And there are still more chapters to be written.
CONGRATULATIONS, K.T.!
The Basketball League and Basketball Super League proudly congratulate Ke’Tarrious Bouchum on being named MVP of the Mozambique National Championship Finals.
TBL Champion.
TBL Sixth Man of the Year.
