Indianapolis IN. Evelyn Magley CEO of The Basketball League, announced a new market was awarded to Montgomery AL.

The ownership group purchasing the team is headed by community leader Clark Adams. The team will be called the Central Alabama Jaguars and are finalizing their venue for ‘22 soon.

Montgomery is in the central part of the state and the team will play in the southeast division of the East conference in TBL.

“I have personally been following the success of TBL for several years and in that time I’ve grown to know a couple of things; we have plenty of talent in our area that needs a chance to be exposed on the pro level and our community will benefit by having a team focused on impacting young lives.” – Clark Adams TMO Jaguars

The team is planning a media conference in the weeks to come to announce venue, team tryouts, dance team tryouts, season ticket opportunities and sponsorship packages.

“This is a VERY big announcement for TBL as this marks our first tram in Alabama. Clark and his group are no strangers to putting a good product on the floor and we are thrilled to have them in TBL family.” Evelyn Magley – CEO TBL

TBL is entering season #5 when play begins in March. Teams play a 24 game schedule with a national champion being crowned in late June.
