Indianapolis IN, Evelyn Magley CEO of The Basketball League announced the 21st market to join TBL, Kokomo IN.
Kokomo a city 45 miles north of Indianapolis in Central Indiana has a rich tradition of high school basketball that dates back to the days of the legendary “Splendid Splinter” Jimmy Rayl.
The Team Market Owners, Jeff & Sondi Beeler and Mark & Kristin Jansen are local entrepreneurs with a passion for the game and a commitment to their community.

TBL is beginning its 4th season as a professional basketball league with teams from coast to coast and a core focus on community engagement. The entertainment is significant and the impact to the youth of the area is important. The league prides itself on leveraging the celebrity afforded the young men, to go deep into each market by encouraging the youth and impacting them in a positive manner.

The team will be called the Kokomo BobKats and will begin tryouts this fall and are available for community involvement immediately. The season begins March of 2021.
