“The Frederick Flying Cows held their own with talent from across The Basketball League, but the TBL All-Stars held on for a 118-110 win in The Basketball League All-Star game at Hood College’s Woodsboro Bank Arena on Saturday.
Shadell Millinghaus sealed the TBL All-Stars’ win with a free throw in the final seconds. The New York Phoenix star finished with 28 points, 11 rebounds and six assists and was named the game’s MVP.
Undrafted rookie Joe Bradshaw gave the Flying Cows their first lead of the night with a layup that made it 59-57 in the second quarter. But the TBL All-Stars regained the lead and were up 92-86 heading into the fourth quarter.
The Flying Cows closed the gap, though, and eventually tied the game on Martavian Payne’s layup. But following a timeout, Trahson Burrell of the Albany Patroons hit a go-ahead bucket for the TBL All-Stars.
Ed Dyson led the Flying Cows with 18 points, including several electrifying dunks, six rebounds and four assists. Bradshaw had 12 points, 12 rebounds and three assists. Damien Daniels had 12 points, eight rebounds and nine assists.
Great Falls Electric’s KD Moore had 12 points and five rebounds for the TBL All-Stars. Corey Boyd of the Kokomo Bobcats had 17 points.
Frederick resumes regular-season play when it faces the Jersey Shore Breaks on the road on Friday.”
